Had a couple great days on the water. the conditions improved all week and the fishing got better right along with it. The whales were every ! it was awesome to see. one whale had to be 70 feet long! Ended up catching a nice 32 inch Ling on saturday. Caught a ton of blacks and a decent cabbie. Friday i caught a nice 22 inch cab, too bad the retention for cabs isn't open yet.

Got some bad footage of the whales . hard to remember to look through the viewfinder when something so cool is happening.

See ya on the water..

I love seeing the whales when they get up close.  It makes the whole trip twice as awesome.

Glad to see you finally caught a cabbie! And that ling, must have been the one I lost on Friday! It was indeed an epic day out of Sunset Bay!

That must be so awesome to have whales so close while you're in your yak. So far, I haven't been there --but hope to one of these days.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent
