Standard Horizon HX150.  Just replaced my Uniden Voyager with one.  84 dollars, push button, remembers the last channel, NOAA weather, with a 10 hour lithium battery and it floats.

You might consider a radio with a DSC emergency functionality.  With a single button press it sends out a DSC distress call with your GPS coordinates.  Since the unit includes GPS functionality there is a significant price difference from those models mentioned here.  There have been a number of radio threads.  See the "For Safety's Sake" sub-forum if interested.
