It looks like a good value for the price. The video states it's based on the older model Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 and that it is roto molded polyethylene. Did you have to buy a seat separately? Anyway I think it's a decent looking boat. I'm not sure what the hatch is directly behind the seat is for but it seems odd to me but that's kind of minor in my book. You might get a little wet in that seat arrangement is the only downside I can tell.

Plugs should hold off the water. Until you take a wave or a wake. I'd buy that thing at the price. Congratulations :-)

The older tarpons are great boats. They do just about everything well. Congrats!

It looks to be exactly the same as the the Perception Sport Pescador except it doesn't have the integrated seat / back .  I have the Pescador and have found only a few minor negatives.   Though I and my gear come in 100 lbs under it's rating,  a good amount of water comes in through the scupper holes in front of the paddler.  Enough that unless moving, the water comes up to the small access hatch in front of you, not allowing you to open it unless you want water coming into the kayak.  It stinks since it is the ideal place to stow things you might want  to access while on the water.    On the most recent versions, they moved that access back a bit where it is at a higher point to resolve that issue.  Rayborbon is right in that the access behind the seat is of minimal use.   It does let you reach in if attaching accessories and using nuts / bolts.
It also has the option to attach an after market rudder if desired.  I couldn't find any other kayak in it's price range which offered that.
