How fast did you end up getting it to go?

Hey there, very interesting unit you have.
I have no experience with electric trolling motors.
Bassyaks, did you install?
How did you use the yak, rivers or open water?
How does it do in rivers??
Do you notice the motor, much?
Vibration?
Weight?
Nice river machine!
More critique, please!

Bassyaks kit was installed by me.  I've tried the motor in the river only which is okay.  There is no vibration and with any trolling motor you can only wish to go faster.  I have an older discontinued model so I have to compensate the weight of my battery.   And with an additional 46lb sits the kayak lower causing more drag.  If it ends up that no one buys it then I might look into upgrading the motor and battery by myself.
