If I made a peach cobbler with whipped cream would anyone eat it? I'll need to bake it in a Dutch oven.

I'm sure folks would eat it.  That said, you're probably on your own to supply the Dutch oven.  There will be a campfire in the vicinity of the meal (assuming the location for the taco feed and awards ceremony is the same as last year).  If you want to commit to that say so and I'll add you to the list.

I'll bring Salsa and tortillas.  Will also have my travel trailer down there this year. Will be able to fill in the gaps for utensils and stuff.

You bringing wheat tortillas?  I've got corn tortillas covered.
Wheat? I'd stock up on at least 200 corn ones before bringing wheat.

Probably NSA.  They'd probably consider it a WMD or something.

Okay I got clearance. Im bringing my ribs! Be warned and warn your families that there will ONLY be spicy ones.  And they look like this

Just talked with my wife. She has a bean dish that she would like to supply. We'll make a BIG pot.  So, I will give up the wheat tortillas to someone else.

Glad to see  the ribs coming back---love the "heat".

This time I'll be sure to have a beer in hand though.........
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

You still in for salsa?  I assumed not, but then reread your post and realized you only gave back the wheat tortillas.

I've added a line for another person to bring 100 corn tortillas.  If anyone thinks of other food items not covered by the list on the first post, or stuff we need let me know.

How about some limes to squeeze on the tacos and cillantro.  Anybody have a good white sauce recipe?

I can plan on 100 corn tortillas, and a quantity of wheat as well (100 as well?).  I'm assuming 'taco' size and not 'burrito' size on the tortillas.

Do I understand that bringing the family along for the awards/feed is all good?  If so, looks like mine will be there - we'll plan to bring some sort of fruit dish/salad.

Thanks,
Sam

Who usually brings the fryers? I'm going to chip some money in to Ling Banger for the oil.
So who has the fryer? PNW? I don't remember who brought it last year.
I can bring a 2 burner propane stove, 5 gal propane, 1 wok, 2 kegs beer (still need confirmation from Ninkasi & will need help hauling the other keg due to limited space in my rig). Of course will donate fish if I catch any. I'm bringing my dive gear, so hope to have some uni, mussels & crab (if I can find them). . Got theses this weekend in CB.
Anybody know a good place to clam up there? I'd be up for gathering some steamers. 4 or 5 people would be good so we could get enough for everyone to have some. We'll be getting there a few days early, Wed. or before.
