Lol ... I am an Outback hater.
I also enjoy ruffling feathers. Relax RR I do not think less of you for your Outback or propensity to fish in your tighty whities.

Damn it Bill. Why I let you get under my skin time and time again is beyond me. ;)
I'm sure when I get to shake your hand in person it' help.

Settle down, Beavis.  This thread is a celebration of my expanding my mind and welcoming pedals into my life.  I, for one, found the Outback to be responsive and peppy. Hug it out, dudes.  Celebrate the potential converting.

Broseidon also showed me the way when it comes to electronics.  As in, maybe I should use them.  I am now pondering eschewing my minimalist attitude. ALT TABbing to Lowrance stuff, too.

Anything you put on there will be minimalist compared to a power boat.

The PA's lack of cup holders disturbed me.  One does not simply leave a beer unattended amongst the douche-boat wakes of Hagg.

Wait, you're telling me that they managed to make space for two cupholders on the comparably small Revo 11, and yet they can't find space for one on the PA hull?  That doesn't make sense.  Maybe you could find some after-market attachment you could clip on to their fancy chair?

Maybe the though process was, "no cup holder, because the PA was designed to carry the whole keg"?

The PA-12 does come with a modular cup holder, and you can buy more for it if you are so inclined.  They are originally designed to clip onto the side rails, but they can fit a number of different places on the boat and work really well.  I can't find a pic of it aside from going down in my garage and snapping one but it's part number 71996001 in the Hobie catalog.

Drink the whole beer. Who needs a cup holder?

The Jadester threw the hammer down last night on the bass. AJ's very first cast at a favorite rock pile produced a nice sexy SMB with bright fiery red eyes. It was love at first cast..I'll try and post a picture soon.
Good times sippin suds and rippin lips with the AJ!

Last weekend Broseidon introduced me to the breathtaking thrill of the AI in a healthy breeze.  Although it is more complex than many kayaks, the ability to fly across the water at PB speeds without paddling is very intriguing and comes with its own sense of minimalism.

The Revo 11 is the drinking man's boat.  It has 2 cup holders; a large one that is the right diameter for wine glasses, martini glasses, or for the discerning gentleman a hooch filled Nalgine and a smaller, deeper, cup holder that shrouds cans and bottles in a protective cocoon of plastic, that even the most awkward dismount can't defeat.

Broseidon spoke of this craft.  Storage and transport issues prevent me from throwing money in its direction. Day sailing will be welcomed into my life, but that's a few chapters down the road.

Or the Oasis (with an apropos name) - 4 cup holders, and the ability to employ a designated skipper so the first mate can drink to chumming point and beyond.
