Man one little guy for hours of fishing. He was maybe 10 pounds and I threw him back cause I caught it in my first ten minutes of fishing.

Talked to some drift boaters that anchored up in about 30 feet of water. They were there for 8 hours and got 5 little ones between the 3 of them.

Some big carcasses on the beach though.

Only trolled for kings for about an hour. Marked some bait on the sonar and one big arch that must have been a king but no take down. Sure is fun to troll with a sail!

Speaking of that, what a great day for sailing. Steady south wind  and just that little flat chop on the water. I was cruising at 6mph when I was pointed just right. I honestly mostly just cruised around today! Made it out 2.3 miles off shore. Then just cruised the coast

Nap time then I'm heading home

Thanks for the report Matt. Sorry you didn't get into fish, but what a glorious time to be on the water. This weather is just amazing, particularly after that spring we had.  I'm collecting vicarious enjoyment just now, as my mother has been unwell and requires all of my attention.  Thank goodness she naps long enough for me to check NWKA and stoke my imagination.

It does great actually when your slightly headed into the wind. In fact I think that's its best potential. You move fast but you have to zig zag or "tack" if you want to get all sailorish
