From what I have heard so far,  this is going to be a great event thanks to  islandson671's hard work.   Hopefully it will join the other annual events we have to look forward to each year.

Or at least every other year!   ;)

As akfishergal expressed so well, they put up a good fight on light tackle...
ultra light is where its at for pinks  ;)

I get excited abut pinks cause as some people have stated its one of the largest runs we get here in Puget sound with chum silvers and kings following in that order to the best of my knowledge I don't say sockeye cause they don't open their season very much and now I could be wrong in my order but that's how I see it...

Shoot .... your right      On the off years,  I personally will put up a $10,000 first prize for the angler who first reaches the limit !!!

Disclaimer:  actual prize given may vary should someone actually know how to catch them during the off years  ;D ;D ;D
I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

No I meant training wheels as that is one species of fish you can count on to be on great numbers and have pretty mic a 100% chance of catching.

My best memories of fishing as a kid were from catching pinks non stop.

Gettin kids hooked on fishing means catching fish and you can count on pinks.

The 17th  :'(.  So missing the ORC won't be enough, you must rub salt in my wounds with a tourney the day I escape from Alabama.   I heard the fish won't show up until the following weekend.  Maybe you should reschedule. ;D
