Practicing my fly tying tonight. I'll post some pics later. I'm doing a combo crazy charlie/ghost shrimp pattern & maybe a loud mouth shrimp. Anyone with a favorite pattern they'd like to share, please do. If you can, bring your vice, tools & some materials.

I'll be bring my fly=tying tackle box. Hope to tye up something new.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

If I make it down, I'll bring some of my bottom fish flys. I'd be great to toss some big ugly bugs with some others at the orc!
Yak clousers are a pattern  I've had some luck with
Think huge-
See the fly below:

These flys that you are tying, are they to be used in place of this?
This is what I'm used to seeing when somebody talks about a shrimp fly:

All fishermen are liars except you and me
(and sometimes I wonder about you).

PNW "Thanks, looks like synthetic fish hair. I use it quit a bit, holds up well in saltwater. I'd be interested in white, black, copper, red & pink."

I'll bring some of this for tying.  Mike
