Who is traveling the farthest to attend the ORC?
I live in Northern ID and was planning to fish this upcoming gathering until a job came up on Sat the 13th.
I  have three items that need to go to Jammer and the ORC.
I would drive 3+ hours to meet someone who could deliver the items.
Small box about 14x20''.
Thank you,
Grant

Probably it will be Justin's 400 or so miles from Baker City, but he's already left. If you send it out Fed Ex to the campground it should get there with plenty of time. Or you could probably send it directly to Jammer.

Looks like I'm a solid 6.3 hours from you.  Too far to make sense.  I'd second Noah's suggestion of FedEx.  It'll probably be cheaper than the gas for a 6+hour round trip in your car, even at 40mpg.

yeah, I was wondering if someone was coming from Pullman or Spokane or Moses Lake or Pasco...
Justin and I chatted last week and his route doesn't connect close to me.
My package is glass/mirror and I have made arraignments with UPS as they say they can pack and handle this.
I have reservations about shipping glass and was looking for someone to help deliver glass safely.

I'm travelling 669 miles one way from San Jose.

Sonny "sailfish" is coming from a little bit south of me, so he has me beat.

I am so ready to hit the road.
Gotta drop the dog off at kennel.
Run home and throw the rest of our stuff in the truck.
Tie it all down and head south for 175 miles.
No record for mileage........and a nice drive

 See ya'll soon.............
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Hey Grant-
Thanks so much for making those awesome trophies! I've currently have mine over the fireplace, until my wife makes me move it to the garage :) It should be in the man area anyway. The quality of these are great, is making these your profession or just a hobby? Thanks again!

It was my pleasure to etch the mirrors for you and the ORC.
I am glad you like it and I understand about displaying fish stuff around the house!
I did an apprenticeship for glass art many years.
I do leaded or stained glass and etched glass(slate, tile, wood, etc) .
I have graphics and calligraphic art training so I use it all for fun stuff.
I used 'Roman Type' for The ORC glass cause it's classic and bold. Not fancy.
My work is mostly 'fish art' these days and it is a hobby as I have always held a day job.
I help anglers display a 'trophy' or prized catch with an alternative perspective: Glass art fish and stats. No mount.
I regret missing the '13 ORC as I had another commitment that I had to attend.
Trying to get to the AOTD tourney at Sunset Bay this year, also.
The Humpy derby sounds fun too.
Thank you,
Grant

Very cool. Hopefully I will see you at one of those events. I'm still trying to figure out if I can get there.

Grant,
Sorry for not saying thanks earlier, but I forgot who made the mirrors.  It is awesome, you can definitely tell you know what you are doing.  I tried to put mine in my wife's house* but was overruled.  After a week of trying to find a good place to put it in my shed, aka my house, I got motivated enough to put up a shelf.  Now it has a permanent home with a bunch of other stuff that  are not allowed in the house.   The second place trophy got kicked out of the house too.
