Hi,

Wondering what is up with coastal and Siletz River Salmon fishing during the ORC? The guy at Chinook Bend CG said they were  getting some Kings and Steelies. Wondering if I should bring my Salmon gear and try Fri and Monday. Not Salmon or Steelies for me this year so far so I am Jonesing...

   Just in case we get shut down by conditions/restrictions or whatever---I'll be bringing some steelhead/salmon gear. The forecast looks promising-------but weather can be fickle..
   Better to be prepared than not.
 
    Besides that -the Siletz looks like a nice river to fish.

     I can only drink so much beer................

  Does anyone know how high on the Siletz is tide water ? River mile ? Past Chinook Bend ? or not ?
