This yak's in perfect condition and rigged to get some fish. The hull is perfect w/ only a few VERY minor scratches and no other marks or indentations. It's only seen the water about a dozen times. The X is the most stable kayak out there and a nice paddler to boot. Also fitted with a Scotty flush mount for the Scotty lake troller downrigger or rod holder, and 4 flush mount rod holders.  Also included is a Surf to Summit Outfitter seat ($75 retail). There are holes from where the previous fish finder and GPS were mounted so you can either get the same one (Humminbird 580) or I can mount a new plate on top for a new one.

Priced to sell @ $800. Will be here for about a week and then it's off to Craigslist.

That's odd, I was just thinking... "What is Z going to do with his old (fairly new actually) Malibu X-Factor?"

:D It's a great yak and hate to part w/ it but it's worse seeing it hanging in the rafters doing nothing. Would rather see someone hooking up w/ some fish on it so decided to sell the fish slayer!

What do you plan on fishing in this weekend?  Did you get a new yak already, or going with the current Hobie?

Yes, the Outback it is. I was lucky enough to make the Hobie team so the Malibu has to go. It's a nice boat but the boyz at Hobie have given me an offer I couldn't refuse. ;) A new mothership is in the pipes. Can't wait!! :headbang:

I'd be all over this if you weren't so far away.  I'd love to get a matching X-Factor for the woman to enjoy.  That way she wouldn't outrun me in a smaller boat.  >:D  Gas prices being what they are, it would cost way too much to get up there in my truck.  Maybe someone local will pick it up when you put it on craigslist, and you can recruit them to the site.  :D

You know I've got a few trips to the Portland area planned in the beginning of June and if you could meet me there I could bring it. Let me know.

Zee, I like the nylon bag insert on the center hatch, is that after market.

Nope, that's stock. It has one in the rear hatch behind the seat as well.

Has anybody else noticed that these things have gone from $989 for a 2007 (which are pretty much gone) to $1139 for a 2008 over on KFS?   :o

Zeeman, WAAAaaaaaait!  Give me just a little more time.  ;)
