Catch card (free but I think you have to ask for it) and the salt water fishing license I think is all.

This is really tempting to go to.  What out of state licensing would I need for this?

https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=baker+city&daddr=Jack+Block+Park&hl=en&sll=48.180739,-119.421387&sspn=11.416058,16.984863&geocode=Fds1qwIdb_35-CmZJQBDF_OkVDE_dNQWDufa7A%3BFdUO1gIdsMK0-CG7Y_E6d_748SkR0t4ba0CQVDG7Y_E6d_748Q&mra=ls&t=m&z=7

WA state is easy. $10 or so for a non-res one day, no "special inspection" sticker like OR or ID. You can get the license all over the place.

I guess if I make it up for this I am going to have to use my princess.  Pink is her favorite color.

I think you'll need the catch card. Make sure to ask for it. Sometimes the person behind the counter or whatever doesn't offer it up and it should be free.

Yes you have to have a catch card on you if you at salmon fishing! Also make sure you have a pen with you because you can get a ticket for not having a way to mark your catch card.

Paid   x 2

Now to decide which fishing buddy I want to invite that isn't likely to outfish me ....   ;D
I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

Bare with my total noobness but I know nothing about pink salmon. What are the most common techniques for catching these things? From my limited research I found that most people are using pink jigs and buzz bombs from a power boat. Like I said I didn't do a very extensive search...it sounds/looks like a blast. I'm becoming more interested in this event.
Plus I've got friends in the Seattle area. I may have to 'visit' them. :)

This is a hoochie with a 1/2 oz worm weight shoved inside. I also like jig heads with a small hoochie too. Cast at school and twitch it.
