and the videos of sharks attacking the older shark cages made of bars didn't count as stripes?

Who's willing to test it out? I can do the chumming from a powerboat close by.

My $0.02:  Those patterns would be great for use with stalkers like tigers and reef sharks but I don't think they'll help when it comes to ambushers like Whites.  Your sillouette as viewed from the bottom doesn't change.

Yep.  From below most everything is just a "dark" sillouette.  Even my bright yellow Adventure has a dark silllouette in our local water conditions (murky) once you go down about 10ft or so.

All sharks are dangerous and unpredictable creatures. It is impossible for SAMS to guarantee that 100% of sharks will be deterred under all circumstances with the SAMS technology.
