My name is Bill and I am from Castle Rock, WA.  I discovered this website and forum about two weeks ago from ifish.net where I am a frequent lurker.

I do not own a kayak as yet, but go kayaking when I can with my in-laws that own and build them.  Fishing is one of my passions, and the idea of fishing from a kayak is like mixing chocolate and peanut butter.  They are better together.

So over the next year or so, I plan on acquiring and outfitting a couple of kayaks.  I have already learned so much from the forum and am glad to join.  Hopefully over time I can contribute to the forum.

Thanks for creating this great place.

Bill

There either is or was a forestry club at OSU called fernhoppers. Just spent a night in Castle Rock on our way to check out Mt. St. Helens, first time in 25 years and it's great up there. Welcome. Hope you find what you need here. This site has helped me a lot and especially avoiding mistakes and danger. There are a lot of good folks on here to answer questions and information in the old subjects. Keep us posted.

Thank you for the welcome C_Run.  You're right, there was and still is a forestry club at OSU club called Fernhoppers.  Its an old slang term they used to call foresters, although I'm not a forester anymore.  Only in heart.
