Hey I'm new to kayak fishing and am in the market for a kayak.  I live in Seattle and will be hitting the Sound and the Straits.  I won't ask for set up recommendations here.  I'm sure there's a thread somewhere to check out.  Thanks for the great info so far and with any luck I'll see you out there sooner than later.

Welcome aboard, there are quite a few of us in the Puget Sound region. There's plenty of threads on set ups and even more info by using the search bar in the upper right hand corner on the page. That being said, don't be shy asking lots of questions, someone will answer!

Thanks for the welcomes.  I've found some of great threads on choosing a kayak, it looks like a lot pass through the classifieds here.  I'll be checking often.  Those good deals go fast!
