The 120 is a great boat. How much do you weigh and what type of fishing do you want to do?

Perfect. I'd say the 100 is going to be a little short for the ocean. The 120 is a great all around boat and will get you out into the salt no problem. The current version of the 120 has a new fancy seat and some other cool features. I paddled the older version and loved it. You can still get the older version of the 120 from west marine, as the pompano 120 for 500 bucks. It's a great option if you're on a budget. I still have my tarpon and wish I spent a little more time in it. The allure of the Revo is hard to pass up :)

I'm usually in my tandem but I have a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 for when I'm alone and I like it just fine. I haven't taken it in the salt yet but I have no reservations about doing so. I don't have any experience with the 10 foot version. It sounds short for salt but IMHO it's all about what you are comfortable in. If you are comfortable and confident in the 10 footer then that may work fine for you.
