Been hitting the Narrows Park from the beach for a couple of hours after work.  Not much there yet, but I did manage one tonight. :)

You should come out and join the Humpy Kayak Classic this Saturday in Alki at Jack Block Park. Prefish it on Friday and scope things out.

Awesome :) cuz I'll be out there tomorrow in my kayak. First time fishing it. I'm pretty stoked about it

I just heard from a buddy there are signs up at Dash talking about contamination of some kind.  He looked it up and it was of the fecal variety.. this sound familiar to anyone?  I've only been up there once and don't remember seeing anything like that.

That shouldn't affect pinks, they are just swimming through.  Leave the flounder alone though lol.

What Lee said... plus any shellfish or mollusks . Sounds like another sewage spill . Add that to the ASARCO superfund contamination, only thing safe to eat might just be the pinks  >:D

Any need to take downriggers out here? Or is fishing the shallows with marabou and buzz bombs enough?
I'm debating dragging a hootchie in 30 or more feet, but not sure i wanna lug that thing with me tomorrow

RR - we've done best hanging out in about 8' of water, watch for finning/jumping, race over and throw a jig or 2" buzz bomb about 20' south of them.  Try north or south of the park.  When they dont seem to be on the surface, I've also picked one up on dodger and hootchie with from 3 to 6 oz. depending on current - 30' of water in front of the park.

I talked to a resident at Browns Point and he said that the pinks should be in strong in about a week.  Parking is very limited there but its not as crowned as Dash Point, but of course, I'm still fishing from the shore because I haven't been able to sell my darn boat yet.  I guess thats what I get waiting till the end of boating season to try and sell it.
