Anybody ever attend any of these seminars at Fishermans Marine and Outdoor?  Wondering if they are any good?  I'm thinking of going to the Shad Fishing one on May 14th, as I don't know squat about Shad (Other than something about a "Shad Dart" that sounds a shad bit shady to me).

At some point someone ought to do a kayak fishing seminar at Fisherman's.  With the price of gas these days, there might actually be more people interested than in the past.

Funny. Yeah those are really fun. You might be surprised and run into another yakfisherman. And even if you don't ,it's really fun to go to events like that and talk w/ people about kayak fishing. There's usually a lot of interest.

Well... an OG w/ yakfish history like you should be able to pull that off w/ one arm tied behind his back. ::)

That's odd, I was thinking one of those OG's with the corporate logos in their signature might want/need to do it.  ;)

HEY!! Well, actually I will be doing some at upcoming paddling events. Really though, for someone whose got the ability to rally and pull out some crazy wins in competition, you must be doing something right. Plus you started back in '96? And even on both coasts. You've got a lot of knowledge to spread. ;)

Hmm, let's take a look.  This one's probably good for Hobie

But these two product placements I'm not so sure about.

This one .. maybe for Bounty paper towels?

Wesson Canola Oil?

I think you have the right idea, but you probably need to work on it more. Maybe keep the product logo in there somewhere ;D

Hey Z, care to be my kayak fishing agent?  You seem to have a decent pitch for me.  :)

BTW, I've never actually had a crazy rally to win a tournament.  I've only taken the lead early and then had to sweat it out all day hoping no one catches a larger fish.  If I could have paced back and forth in my kayak safely, I would have done it.

And to clean up, don't forget Bounty, "the quicker picker upper"..

If you had an Ocean Kayak, you'd be catching bigger fish and taking better pictures.   >:D

Hey Roy,

I'm not so sure putting a bunch of road kill on top of your Hobie kayak will be the most flattering form of product placement.
