Sunset Bay fishing 05/08-10

Looks possible for ocean fishing in the next few days. The wind predictions are suspect to me. I'm looking out the window at about a 10 mile an hour breeze and i live pretty close to the bay and ocean. Anyway, gonna hit it at least one of these days.

I'm gonna try catch a small greenling and use it for live bait this time, haven't tried that yet. Got three poles all rigged and ready to go.One for jigging for lings and rocks, one for catching a small green and one thick bad boy for using the live bait. Gonna be fun..

I may join you on saturday depending on two things, a babysitter and water conditions.  I will give you a call Friday if I get someone to watch my two boys for Saturday.

Sounds good, I'm probably gonna go out tomorrow for a while just in case you can't make it, but ill go out Saturday also if you can. Talk to you on Friday. Conditions should be good.

Team Roy went out today, seemed bigger then the forecast. All i caught was a greenling that i used for bait for at least an hour and was able to release it after that much time without as much as a toof mark on it. I did catch a good case of seasickness though, That kinda ruined my day after losing my cell phone before i even went out.

Royg caught two blacks and a tiny ling tail first. The bite was off today..

Gonna hit it again tomorrow, the swell is supposed to be a little smaller.

Justin, Royg and i went out today at sunset. Much nicer then yesterday and the fish were a biting. Royg and Justin both caught two Lings, I couldn't even buy a Ling today.Justin and I did limit out  on blacks though. It was a good day.
