I'm thinking this will be my last launch of the year out on Meadow Point this weekend, and wasn't sure if anyone was going out. Hell I don't know if there are even any fish left out there! :)

No boats out this evening. If I don't see anyone tomorrow morning, I'll probably go out and see if I can get some flounder (sand dabs) for fish tacos.

It's a morning bite, from first light to noon. The bay will be loaded with boats this weekend it's peak season, and I know several of the kayak tribe will be out there too.

About 250 boats out there today. I was out for 3 or 4 hours this morning, didn't get a fish, didn't see a fish surface and didn't see another boat net a fish.

The marks are there deep 40 to 60 feet and a bit of bait around that is scattered, but it is very slow for some reason.

True Story:
Got a full skunk for nearly 4 hours of effort on Saturday, didn't see a fish caught at West Point. Went to the local watering hole with the wife Saturday night. The guy at the bar next to me is showing his buddy his big Coho he got earlier. Of course, I'm all ears at this point. He told me it was right out by the green can off Meadow Point. I'm there early, pinks all over the place. I bang a pink in the first 5 minutes, then realize I came out there for Coho. I drop my green gear down and start doing laps, one miss and the second one sticks and is a PIG. What a difference a day makes.
