caught these two by 7:15 this morning. I was using a red racer flasher and green spatterback squid w U.V. skirt, 53 feet of downrigger cable out to a 10 lb pancake weight, >3.3 mph.

Good to know I am going to be spending a good portion of my day out there on Friday. Last Saturday and Sunday the pinks were still jumpin like crazy off the launch

There you go. A pair of silvers from a kayak is sweet. Nice job!

Nice work, it looks like you really have the fishery dialed in olyman!

oly - I see you out there all the time!!  I know it's you because i see your boat light pre-dawn (very safe, btw).  I mean to come over and say hi but I get too busy catching fish ;)  it's been off the chain recently!!

I got to go a lot more last year(14 times), and remember seeing you. I only noticed one kayak in the seven trips I've made this year. I hope you are not cheating and fishing from a boat! jk

when it was on, it was on. 3 limits, 4 skunks and one lost fish. oh and one nabbed by a Sea Lion. I don't always catch fish but I always catch a workout.

Where out there are you catching them. I have not fished the salt yet yet but I am 0 for 3 in the Snohomish for silvers.

I launch about 50 yards south of the boat launch and head southwest generally. I then look for tide rips, bait popping, birds or nets out. If I get a bite I will zip back and forth in that area till I get another bite or I see something like I mentioned to attract me elsewhere.

Thanks, don't have a down rigger but I may try it this weekend. If nothing else I can practice my trolling tech
