Planning on heading over to the Nestucca tomorrow morning. The surf is supposed to be tsunami size all day so hopefully some fish will be stuck in the river. If anyone else is heading that way let me know and I will keep an eye out for ya. Haven't fished it before but looks like a good bet.

Put in at the boat ramp just down river from PC at around 9 am which was low tide. Fished til high tide at about 345 pm. Lost three before I figured out my drag was a little to tight. Had two takedowns as well. Ended up catching a 50 pounder give or take 40 pounds. The coho were thick.

Thanks for the report!  It's been a while since I've fished that area.  Good to know there are fish around.

I like your math.  Your estimation skills are as precise as mine when it comes to fishing.

Great report, nice job!  I was trolling spinners there over the weekend but didn't do as well as you.

What did you get em on?

I fished the area from pacific city to the little nestucca. Follow the seals if you can't find the fish.

By any chance did you find that lure one bay north  attached to a pink princess rod?
