Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Thanks guys!

Neither that trip nor that article would have been possible had it not been for the generosity of  NWKA's Alaska contingent.  What a great group of people!

There must be more unexploited venues to explore.....  "Where next?" is the question.   ;D

I'd love to do a POW trip. But the Sound is in our backyard, so we're likely to book some more cabins there for next summer -- we've been looking at Green Island as a possibility. And we'll extend the open invite just like last year.

We really enjoy extending hospitality to those who love outdoor adventures as much as we do.

Sadly an Alaska kayak trip is probably not in the cards for me for 2014.
I'll be getting hitched in mid August so my chances of a AK trip in the same month are slim to none ..... :(

Is the article online anywhere? I'd love to see it.

Mark - My wife and I will be in Coffman Cove - Prince of Wales, in our RV - July 8 to Aug 26th. Second time up there and we can't wait to get back. Let me know if you have plans to go there during that time.

Ill do that SeaWolf.
I have fished off Wadleigh Island and found the fishing unreal. That was in a 32' Bayliner
It would be so much more fun in a kayak
