I'm getting ready to retire from the Navy and will be back up to washington in sept. When I was stationed at whidbey, I fished the skagit, sauk and stily off the bank. I just got my Big game yak and have been having fun here in Port Heuneme, CA but just miss all those silvers and steelheads that taste great on the barbie. Can't wait to get back home. well just wondering if anyone gets down the skagit and if they think the big game is to big for the river? ;D

I live across the mountains from the Skagit and while I don't float it, I doubt you'll have any problems with the Big Game being too big. Downstream of Marblemount, you could darn near float the QEII.
