I have to wait until after Christmas, but I'm pretty excited about my new pairing. My Abu Garcia 6501 and Berkeley air. Oh, so excited.

I also run the same setup for one of my combos. Very versatile. I believe mine is spooled with 50lb braid and I have used it for trolling, light plunking, float fishing, and even surf casting.

What line and type of use are you planning?
