Looking through the regs I found that Ilwaco and Westport (Area 1&2) are open for salmon this Sunday. I'm sure the bulk of the salmon fishing is far offshore but there's got to be some good fishing not too far out past the surf line. Weather is sure to be a factor since I've dealt with some winds out there before but if the weather cooperates I'd guess it could be some good trolling/mooching. Anyone interested?

BTW Area 13, which opened for Chinook on May 1 but w/ bad reports, is finally heating up. Looking forward to get the new salmon troller in the water down there!
