I think we've narrowed down the date of the ORC to either June 28th or July 12th.  Both dates have their pros and cons.

June 28th - Statistically better for wind speed.  Higher likelihood of rain.  Cabezon closed.
July 12th - Afternoon winds can shut the bar down.  Statistically better for weather and Cabezon will be open.

July 12.  Cabbie's open.  Weather is a bit iffy, but it worked OK last year.  Hard to believe 2 weeks would make that huge of a difference.  If you're going to go back into June you might as well go all the way back to Father's Day weekend.

I think we should do it in the fall like the first ORC. That's when the weather is best on the coast.

I chose the 28th because its my birthday, and a new kayak will be a great birthday present. Other than that, any date works for me.

I would get in trouble for doing the 12th beings that is the day of my wedding. It does seem like the better option due to cabby retetion though.

Anytime in June for me.  Prefer father's day to the 28th but either one works.
