2014 Salmon SlayRide Derby October 18 (Hoodsport, WA)

We have 4 people signed up for the bunkhouse so far we need at least 3 more to meet the minimum required. The bunkhouse has a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. As of right now its $45 for two nights and from what i understand the price may be less the more we have staying in the bunkhouse.

Dino, I will be there fri. Some time early afternoon to get in some pre fishing can't wait to slay some chum with the good old fly rod!

Any chance of pushing the weigh in time back an hour?  High tide is around 2:30.  If i remember correctly from last year, the bite is crazy at slack high.  Either way, looking forward to a great time.  Wayne

Unsure if I will be able to make the event but I was at the Hoodsport Hatchery yesterday. I didn't see any signs of chum, no fisherman etc but it was kind of windy. Hopefully the chum are staging just offshore waiting for the rain, I'm no expert but it seems the fish should be showing up any day now. Good thing the event was pushed back another week in my estimation.

I can't make it this year but if you are on the fence I really recommend going to this.  Last year was awesome, I think I landed over 20 chum. Also, for the pdx folks it only takes a bit longer the get there as it does to get to Depoe Bay.
