Upon signing up last week, I've seen my membership status/level change from Plankton to Herring (perhaps something in between?). I've seen membership status of other fish as well. In comparing to other forum sites I'm confident it relates to the number of posts by the member which determines their status/level.

My question, for curiosity sake: What are the thresholds for the status/level changes? (also if there's an order of fish species).

I know it won't change anything to know, but again, just curious.

(I did a generic search of the site for Member Status, Level, Membership, but couldn't find a similar post).

Thanks!

Gotta say----I've wondered that myself. Just never got around to asking...

Thank you Noah!

I thought it would be more granular, being I remember first joining and being a Plankton, and then Krill, before arriving at Herring.... but I suppose I should only be interested in what's after herring at this point, and you've outlined a point/post scale encompassing all #'s to 1000 - I'm content! :)

There may be a couple of forums that open up to memebers once they reach a certain level as well.
