Ouch, my brain hurts and I'm not sure if I'm any smarter or not

I kinda zoned out around the first diagram...after that all I saw was high school math all over again!

Good stuff!  I love knowing the physics behind why I'm suddenly floating in 40deg water.
I spent way too much time lingering on the mis-use of the word effect.

Good stuff - though I agree with Nangusdog --my brain hurts. This article really affected my understanding of the effect of CG, which in turn affected my affect and now I'm just confused. (Spot - correct usage??)
