The title is a little deceiving I'm sorry. My name is Joe and I live in Tacoma. I'm in the army stationed at JBLM and while I was deployed to Afghanistan a buddy of mine was telling me about fishing from a kayak. (Hence the title of the post) it struck my curiosity, I'm for  puyallup and I've never heard of this type of fishing. I would really like to try it but I have no knowledge so if anyone out there would be willing to let me pick their brain on what to do, where to go, what I need pretty much any info that your willing to divulge it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

First off - Thank you for your service!

Welcome to the forum.  Lots of great advice on here.  Use the search function to your advantage.  Other than that, just ask away.

Welcome aboard, and thanks for your service! You should attend one of our Heroes on the Water outings! There you'll have the chance to paddle or pedal several boats while fishing with/learning from other active duty members, retired, former military, and good hearted supportive civilians alike. If your interested PM me and I'll get you registered!
