Hello my name is Shawn,

Ok as of right now i do not have a Kayak, but I have fished from one with a friend a few times.  I have also went out fishing with Hero's on the Water.  I retired from the Air Force in Apr 2009 with 20 years 7 months of service.  I have a 19' SeaRay cuddy cabin (Yard orniment) that I have to get fixed to where it is running and then sell it to finance buying a new Kayak (says the wife).  I have been looking at Ocean Kayak's and Hobie's, just not sure which one to get yet after motor boat is gone that is.

Hello Shawn, welcome to the group.  Just tell the wife you're getting yourself a kayak, go get the one you like, and be done with it!  That is what us "real" men do.
Good luck.  LOL!!!!!

Just remember, when mommy's not happy, no one's happy.  On a lighter note, what was your AFSC?

Sweet. I was wondering if anyone had put jet engines on a kayak to power it. Maybe you're the chance to find out.  ;)
Relax. You'll live longer.

Welcome aboard! E&E guy here!

I met you at HOW event at Dash point state park fishing for pinks this last fall.  I showed up with Big Fish (Tony) and was the one that found out the gate was not locked for the trailer of kayaks to get out.

I know your face now! Kinda figured we crossed paths when you mentioned HOW. Hopefully we'll see you out there in your own boat soon!
