I'll gladly fish in either the snow or 9-14 winds individually, but it takes an old prior Navy salt like yourself to enjoy the combo!! If it's coming down sideways I'm out!

I don't think I'll make it out tomorrow so I'm glad I hit it for a couple hours this afternoon. Was nice meeting Mark and seeing Fil out there.
I couldn't get any Kokes to bite so I started drop shotting a gulp minnow looking for some SMB action and just could not keep the trout off...collected a 5-fish limit in about 20 mins. I don't eat these but they'll make some great Ling bait in a couple weeks ;)
I had one RBT that had a really distended belly so Fil and I cut it open and were shocked to see a full 3/8 oz bass jig and grub in it's stomach...didn't stop him from trying to eat my offering too...what a pig.

Good luck tomorrow and if the bite's off, just drop shot a gulp minnow about a foot off the bottom around Silcox island and hammer the trout!...the channel between the island and Bill's boathouse was fast and furious...Mark was hammering them right in front of the Creek by the launch.

Good crossing paths with you too ,Gordon. Looking forward to more time on the water . Good to see Fil and Micahgee as well.

American Lake was fun. Bite took a while to turn on but it sure felt good when it did.
Will be smoking them RBT and CTT tomorrow in a new Big Chief.
Come on salmon.....my smoked salmon kicks butt.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Well thought I would make it but too much still to do. Transitioning the Wavewalk from duck hunting to fishing and mounting the downrigger, etc. and here it is 10:30 am with conditions getting more sporty and the radar looks like some punishing rain on the way.  I am going to finish projects and get ready for next time.  Those that got out early probably had a nice time.

I hope someone fished it.
Fish on the right side that's where the fish are! John 21:6

I am no longer a dealer for Wavewalk but if you ever want to paddle one let me know!

woke up feeling sick, but I went anyway.  Nate was out there too, we braved the elements for a while.  it sucked.  no fish.  first time all year I been skunked at AL.  Met a lurker as well, I welcomed him to the addiction and wished him luck.  He said he would be posting on the site soon.

A little too far south for me fellas.

I'm excited about these warm rains though.  They should quickly warm up the surface, hopefully causing some fish to become active...not sure what percentage.  I'm hoping that some of them will rise a bit to catch the warmth at the surface.

I'm hoping to hit up my local lakes here in Snoho county in my 10' fishing bathtub and troll some rattling, suspending cranks.
