Here is a cheap and easy mounting for a gopro.  I had this old Minnkota trolling motor handle extension laying round the garage.  I think new they are like 10-20 bucks.  Using the pre-existing adjustment holes, I used the mounting hardware that came with the gopro.  With this mount I can move it to multiple locations on the yak, such as the molded rod holders and also the scotty rod holder.
