Hello and a joke

On the other forums I frequent they demand a joke in the first post so here goes,

No one in this town could catch any fish except this one man.The game warden asked him how he did it so the man told the game warden that he would take him fishing the next day...
Once they got to the middle of the lake the man took out a stick of dynamite, lit it, and threw it in the water. After the explosion fish started floating to the top of the water. The man took out a net and started picking up the fish. The game warden told him that this was illegal. The man took out another stick of dynamite and lit it. He then handed it to the game warden and said " are you going to fish or talk?"

It's stupid but I laugh every time! Basic intro, I live in Vancouver (Canada), been fishing most of my life and got into Kayaking last year. It does double duty for me for fishing and hunting. Hope to share my experiences and learn lots. Please to meet you all!

Welcome to the forums! I really appreciate a coherent/legible intro post...I didn't expect a joke. This is the best intro I have read since I joined.

Yeah Firefly, but thankfully, some aspects have evolved. Now we chase fish from kayaks, not chariots, and we false cast to dry our flies, not torture the live stock.
