I fished the Columbia at Vancouver yesterday (got skunked).  I wasn't too worried about pedaling back upstream because I cheat - I have a sail  :laugh:.  But there wasn't enough wind, so I got a lot more exercise than I had intended.  Thought I'd post this link for others who are not aware of it:

http://www.nwrfc.noaa.gov/river/river_summary.php?sort=s1&ss=name&ss=*

Click on the river station I.D. to see graphs of river levels and velocities

fps = mph

1.0 = 0.68182
2.0 = 1.36364
3.0 = 2.04545
4.0 = 2.72727
5.0 = 3.40909
