Just curious to see if there are any people in this next of the woods who fish of their Yak?

As this is a Kayak Fisherman website...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say probably everyone here fishes from some sort of kayak...for some sort of fish...   In regards to your heading "Lower Mainland"...where in particular are you talking?  Depending on how north you are defines "lower".  Mainland of what?...

I'm not trying to be a jackass...it's just natural.  But a "Does anybody here fish fro kayaks?" question on a kayak-fishing website...???...really? :-\

I've looked at a couple of my posts afterwards and thought..."What was I even trying to say?...Is that even English?"   ...Thankfully, I've found the "Edit" button. ;D

Abstract Fly--there are a few people on here from the lower mainland--Sturgeon Rod, RyanD and FishWhisperer to name a few. Good luck and I hope you find some good spots.

I live in Vernon, but work is based in Squamish.  Will be back and forth and draging the yak with me every few weeks if people are game for a paddle.   I freedive spearfish mostly, so will most likely be jetting up to the north island on breaks, but always up for something local.
