This last weekend was a trout slaying festival for me - and it is because of the kayak.  Some of our year round lakes ( South Snoho County ) have been stocked, including this one i'm talking about.  With the kayak, I was able to go where the fish were...and I mean tons and tons of fish.  Starting Fri evening to Sun I went out for 4-5hr runs per day and ended up unhooking 27 beautiful rainbows, cuts and what looked like a couple hybrids.  I lost at least as many, most of which were 2 and 3 jumps before they through the hooks.

There is no way I could have accomplished this without my kayak.
I'm going again today!!!!  Yeehaw!

Thanks.  Went out again yesterday and unhooked about 7 and lost at least that many.  I'll keep a coming until the bite dries out.
