Looks to me like cordless drills as motors? Wonder how much prop push you could get out of today's cordless drill without using a gear box??? Things that make you say hmmm

yea maybe the small lower end hooked to the drill should be good for a 15 min ride and variable speeds hmmm

I've always thought it would nice if Hobie, licensed the drive to other manufacturers. But then they would be force to innovate on their designs more than once every 5 years...

Well it comes with a seat,  and you're still cheaper than most of the mirage drives.

I talked to a guy with Santa Cruz kayaks.  They said they were in development stage of a peddle power kayak.  I really like tbs Santa Cruz kayaks. Innovative design
