Hi everyone!! New guy here and new to kayak fishing.   I live in Portland and have a hobie revo 13.  If anyone fishes in the portland metro area, and wants company, i would love to join!  My goal is to target salmon and steelhead. I look forward of gaining knowledge from this site and meeting new fellow kayakers!  Until then....tight lines!!

Welcome to the insanity! Springer clinic this Saturday gonna be your best bet...gonna be a lot of good info and people. Also, with the willy blown, probably the best chances for a springer.

Yeah, i saw that and will try to go if my schedule fits.  Oh, one more thing.  I am getting stuff prepared for salmon and want to carry the minimal amount of gear.  What ounce size lead do you guys carry with you when you are trolling, using herring or spinner prawns?  Thanks
