Ok so last night I decided that I was going to go fish and nothing was gonna stop me, going to wake up at 5am get ready and head for lake sawyer and try out some new water since meridian hasn't been producing for me...

well got up about quarter to 8 :( got lost going to lake sawyer >:( when I finally found the boat launch I said to myself "mike its gonna be ok just get set up and fish...(and as I was unloading the yak and before I had my waders on I stumbled and stepped into the water)

ok got poles, rod holder, paddle, etc., seat... ... ... wait where's the seat... dag nabbit!" left the seat on the patio table, said ohh well as I parked the blazer and proceeded to shove off  :-[ and trolled/paddles around for as long as I could (less than an hour) without a seat/back support didn't catch anything...

so it was a late start of the day out of the house for roughly 2hrs only wet a line for maybe 30min :'(

but made up for it by putting up the hammock and enjoying a nice day and chased the kids around to make up for it...

then its early to bed and try it again in the morning ;D

I forgot my seat once.  My back hurt for a week.  Never forgot the seat again.

I got stuck on a sand bar in Siletz bay ended up taking four hours to get off the water.  Didn't get back to the dock untill 10:30.   Wife and kids were all crying.  Terrible day, expect to see the wifes kayak on Craigslist soon.  She told me she would never go on it again.

That is seriously horrible, all around!

I guess this is the current fess-up thread so here's mine: I was fishing Sunday and it was windier than I expected but doable, so I launch and after I get out from shore a ways I start setting up to troll, get my rod set up, reach down for my paddle...

I won't forget my paddle keeper again.
