Seems like my Koke habit is now starting to affect my job...Last Thursday I didn't have much scheduled early and I was dying to try out my new Lamiglass Team Kokanee rods so I snuck out to American Lake and managed a quick limit of fat Kokes all between 14"-15". I quit after the fourth Koke as I had to get to work...plus, I also caught and released a 16" rainbow and since I was using corn on the lures, it counted towards my limit.

Later that morning I sat in a meeting smelling a little like fish but I had a huge grin on my face!

Three Kokes came off a downrigger at 21 feet using the setup pictured and the fourth Koke and the rainbow came off a flatline with a 1/4 ounce egg slider in front of a Dick nite 50/50 dodger and gold beaded, brass blade wedding ring spinner.

Oh yeah, the rods are awesome...sensitive and soft tips but a bit more backbone than my old Okuma Kokanee specials

Nice. Those pink squid seem to be a winning ticket. I wish the kokes down here at Green Peter would get a bit bigger. Those look nice and fat.

You guys are killing me with these kokanee reports. I now have almost as much kokanee gear as bass gear and I've yet to go kokanee fishing from the kayak!

Now that pic made my mouth water--nothing beats fresh grilled kokanee! Haven't had it for years!
