I know, it's probably a little early but a few thousand have started to head over Bonneville and I need to get out since my little brouhaha on the Klickitat last year. :o I haven't gotten out for ANY type of fishing in the last 5 %&#@$* months! There's gotta be something wrong with me... I'll let you know how it goes. I'll be in the gray Revo with the flag and the red drytop.

I may hit Drano on Tuesday and/or Thursday next week. Monday going to try for bass near Lyle. Let me know if you're interested, Fred. PM me.

What techniques do you use at Drano with the kayak?

When I was a teenager we used to wind drift u20 flatfish, troll spinners, throw woblelures, and other spinners, but I haven't been in a long time.  I have had a hankering to go down there with the yak.

It's pretty much still the same set up. There were guys out there this morning trolling Delta Flashers, Kwikfish, spin-glos and shrimp, and wiggle-warts. No one was catching anything though. I was there for 4 hours this morning and only saw one 15 poundish springer on a stringer. Should be good in a couple of days. The numbers are starting to come up!

IslandHoppa, I'd love to go, but the rest of the week is chock-full, dang it! Thanks for the invite!

Fred,

Thanks for the report. If I get out this week will do likewise. Hope to meet up there some day.
