I saw these sand dab swim baits on The Outdoor Line's website.  Looks like a winner for halibut and lings.  Check out the video of how they move through the water. Hogy makes one also but its not a paddle tail.Hogy flatfish 3 1/2” and 5".

That looks like a 12 $ snag. Why not just use real sand dabs?

True.  We certainly know the dead sand dabs work but I like being prepared and you don't always have time to catch dabs.  I'll buy one and give it a try.
