I hope the weather holds out for Washington's Sat opener.  I'll be out either way, but a nice day would really add to the excitment.

Yep, going to hit Williams in Spokane county early, then possibly Rock in the afternoon.....
When in doubt, throw a line out!

Had a great day on Margaret opening day.  Went to Storm yesterday.  Slayed them both days.  Chaulking one up for the wonderful, funderful Kayak.

Anyone hit wilderness on opening day?  I heard it was a mad house, people covering every inch of shoreline and almost to many boats on the water to effectively fish the lake... Im hoping my luck turns around for me soon since I just recently renewed my license (realized I was fishing with an expired one recently so I remedied that quick fast and in a hurry :)

Hit Riley lake in snohomish county noon Saturday.  One bump. Not a lot of action anywhere on the lake.  One guy had a 6 lb holdover.  Nice looking fish.  Went to lake McMurray Sunday morning.  Had my limit in about 45 minutes.  The eagles an osprey had their limit in half the time.  Lots of fish in the lake.  Most were about 11-12 inches.

I hit lake tanwax in graham and got my limit in an hour. Used a brass colored blue fox or vibrax spinner

Hit Storm again yesterday afternoon, till bout 7pm.  C&R'd about 8.  A handful kindly unhooked themselves.  Wasn't very crowded yesterday.  3-4 out on the water when I arrived.  People trickling in and out.  Using a modified inline spinner with all but one of the treble hooks cut, and the barb pinched down.
