I finally got around to editing some Springer video from April 1st. As you can see in the video I almost could have lost this fish. Netting from the tail end is dangerous but with sea lions in the area being fast is also important. Prawn spinners are DEADLY right now, so get out and enjoy it. If you need help with Springers send me a PM or go to www.KayakFishingOregon.com. See ya on the water!

Great video.  I remember you showing me that fish as I was pulling my Kayak out of the water.

No doubt about it Michael, you've got that place wired.  That tail netting attempt made me cringe.  I was sure you were gonna loose it.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Nice fish! Sometimes ya just gotta get it in any way possible. Congrats, and thanks for posting the vid.
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

I'm lucky I didn't loose it. Had the rim of the net been a little closer to that jaw things may not have ended so well.

Great video, Jammer!  Even though I knew the outcome I still couldn't help but feel you were going to loose it!  :D
