Hi from sw wa!

Hey everyone, I've fished my entire life (34 yrs), caught tons of salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, sea bass, lings.  I sold the fishing sled and am looking to getting a kayak that will be salt worthy.  Leaning old town predator 13, but not completely sold on it yet.  I need a yak that will be stable, fish finder friendly, and be able to pack some gear (and fish .  I'll probably head out of Pacific city and depoe bay some.  Cape D is an option too.  I've been reading on here for a while and got some good ideas.  Thanks guys!

Welcome aboard! The predator is a tank! If you'd like to try one, just let me know the next time you'll be around Olympia and you can take mine for a spin. She's a stable horse,  but not my first choice for surf launching, and definitely not for the currents of Cape D.

 Another warm welcome from the wet side. Take some time to look at older posts-- there is a wealth of information available . You will find many helpful people on board who will go out of their way to help you be successful.  If you find yourself out on the coast let me know and I'll be happy to let you try out a couple of Hobies or a sit-in side kayak. I'm only a dew minutes from the Willapa River and Bay.
