Hobie Pro Angler anchor guide fixture thingy

Guys, I don't know what the technical name for the thing I made is, but here are some pictures.  When pulling up 200+ feet of anchor line, this should help.  It will also give me a quick way to let the anchor go in the event I need to fight a fish.

That's killer looking anchor guide.  Is that UHMW, can't quite tell?

Be sure to keep your anchor rope clear of any knots or loops that would keep it from going through the rear cleat in the event you need to ditch the anchor in swift waters in an emergency situation. 
ALWAYS have a sharp knife on the ready as well.

Thanks guys.  I made it out of some plastic I Purchased from Tap Plastics.  I don't remember the name of the plastic.  I asked them for a plastic that was strong, would cut and drill well and wasn't brittle.  The roller thing on the front is a piece of the shaft I cut out of the trolling motor I have.  The rope keeper I bought from West Marine.

My guess is that the plastic is Delrin. We use it a lot in the tools we manufacture because of all the factors you asked for.
