Went fishing with my father today down at Silver Creek Reservoir.  He was using a float tube and fly fishing, i was using my kayak and spinning rod/reel.  He caught two, I caught 5 =)  The weather was really nice, sure glad I wasn't bank fishing because the shore was packed.  There was a total of 13 boats (counting my dad's float tube and all the kayaks).  I caught the first trout using some powerbait and a bobber, then I switched to a rooster tail and caught the rest while trolling.  My kayak is official broken in!  Can't wait to get back on the water and catch some more fish.

Nice job breaking in the kayak.  Looking forward to your next fishing report.

What does PSR stand for??  I did manage to get a couple pictures...  I'll add them when I get home.  Ya lots of kayaks out on the water, most of them were white water kayaks though... There was a family of 5 that had white water kayaks, they were fishing out of them.  I saw one of the children hook a fish, but they lost it trying to bring it out of the water.  There were about 3 canoes that were fishing, and another kayak that was fishing and landing them.  Saw a couple ww yaks practicing Eskimo rolls...  Seemed like most of the kayaks were just practicing, and a few were fishing...  I was really surprised to see a lack of pfd's on most of the kayaks.

Here is my Zoar sport in action.

That is both wmy catch and my fathers, took off my fishing gear when I limited out, and he was tired of his float tube. Decided to explore the reservoir and Silver Creek.  Saw a couple kayaks down the creek a ways, pulled up along the shoreline setting up tents.  There was lots of foxgloves and moss, was really scenic once you left the open area...  Didn't catch any pics of that though haha.

As you can tell I had a lot of fun.  Even if it was farmed fish =p
